Syd is a Winnipeg creative and esthetician, and my former student! Syd was actually in my first Family Studies class EVER and let me tell you, it was a riot. Syd’s creativity and chill vibes are unmatched. You’ve probably seen her work on SO MANY WINNIPEGGERS HANDS! She’s just that rad.
Syd writes,
Nail painter. Multimedia Creative. Professional chip dipper. Banana milkshake enthusiast. My love for nails started when I was just a wee little kiddo at the ripe age of 8. I’ve been obsessed with all things nail art for as long as I can remember. I was that 8 year old kid with the extravagant nail polish kit. Tiny flower gems. Cute stickers that would never stay down. Remember OPI mini’s? I know you do. However, I’ve grown up (or at least I’d like to think so) and so has my taste in art. So when it comes to nails nowadays, my favourite things to illustrate are flowers, hands, and fruit. I want texture, confetti, twinkle stars, and more. The more colour the better, but pink and orange will always be my go to’s.
I’m pretty proud of this girl, who she’s become and all she’s accomplished. Even more excited to have collaborated with her on this limited release punch needle kit!

What’s Included :
100% Canadian Wool Rug Yarn in chosen design colour-way.
Rug yarn is a chunky weight (4-ply) and meant to hold up to heavy foot traffic.
Wool is durable, biodegradable, naturally water repellent and can take the heat! No synthetic fibres here!
10" No-Slip Morgan Hoop
Morgan Hoops are sturdy and have a small channel on the side of the hoop to keep your monks cloth tight as a drum when stretched.
Easily adjust your cloth, work on small pieces or large pieces with ample “punching space”.
#10 Regular Oxford Punch Needle in Box
Includes a stitch gauge and Oxford instruction guide. straight from Amy Oxford herself!
Oxford Punch Needles are hand turned and assembled in the USA. Each punch is tested by hand and is backed by a lifetime, no-hassle, warranty through The Oxford Company.

This 100% Cotton Monks Cloth is specifically chosen for punch needle using an Oxford #10 Regular punch.
It is the appropriate weave size to hold your loops in place AND easily remove loops if you need to.
